This was an already existing church that suffered four splits when they sought assitance from MZCF in the year 2000. At that time, the former pastor had just left the church leaving the church shepherdless. The Eldership agreed to relay the spiritual foundation of the church through weekly teaching of the Word. This was supplemented by sending Sunday speakers until 2005 when its present a full-time pastor was finally installed. The church have since changed its name into the present one as an expression of its identification with the Vision of Zion. CROZ has been considered a daughter church in response to the request of its original leaders who wanted to be adopted as one instead of just being considered affiliated.
