Fellowship of Ministers and Christian Churches

In June 16, 1983, one of the prophetic promises that God spoke to the church was "…there shall be hungry pastors that will come from the villages and from the barrios and will say, "Send us teachers, send us musicians, send us ministry…" These words have become the guiding light for the elders of the church, then and now, to extend fellowship, service, and assistance to other churches. Though limited in human and material resources, MZCF has, by the grace of God, never shrunk from her God-given mandate to serve the Body of Christ. In the year 2000 the eldership decided to organize MZCF-planted churches and others who were related to her into a fellowship of churches. This move saw the birth of the Fellowship of Ministers and Christian Churches or FMCC. This fellowship exists to serve, provide assistance, and spiritual covering for ministers and churches. As a fellowship of churches that believes in strong relationship as the basis for mutual activities and cooperation, FMCC subscribes to the Vision of Zion as taught by Rev. Brian J. Bailey, President of Zion Fellowship International into which FMCC has spiritually aligned itself since 2003.

FMCC activities are geared toward the promotion of spiritual growth of ministers and churches into Christlikeness manifesting in a life of humility, holiness, servanthood, and the fear of the Lord. Member-churches are encouraged to work together to keep the unity of the Spirit, endeavoring to make ready a people prepared for the greatest ingathering of souls and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

MZCF hosts for FMCC a monthly gathering every second Saturday of the month. The typical program consists of breakfast, worship, ministry of the Word, and prayer for one another. This monthly meeting is designed to provide a relaxed atmosphere where ministers can meet as friends aside from receiving fresh infusion of the Word and from the Spirit. So much time is given for worship and the Word of God.

Two major annual activities in which churches are encouraged to participate are the Summer Family Camp and Joint Worship Celebration in April and December respectively. MZCF has led FMCC churches to different venues in the different provinces of Pampanga, Zambales, Rizal, and Batangas. This summer activity has become a venue where revival, outpouring of the Holy Spirit, greater consecration and dedication of lives to the Lord and His service have been witnessed as a result of the concerted efforts displayed by participating churches. The Joint Worship Celebration is held at the MPNAG Gymnasium located in Barangay Mauway, Nueve de Febrero, Mandaluyong City.

FMCC's youth arm, known as Youth Revive, meets for a whole day every third Saturday of the month for worship, study of the Word, and fellowship. This youth organization consists of the various youth fellowships coming from FMCC. Youth mission trips are held regularly during semestral and summer breaks. These trips have brought them to the different provinces of Pampanga, Quezon, Isabela, and Kalinga. In 2008, God used them to minister to young people separately belonging to Filipino and Vietnamese churches in Saigon, Vietnam. Youth leaders of FMCC churches come together every Monday night for prayer, planning, and fellowship.

Periodically, FMCC sponsors seminars for pastors and leaders inviting seasoned and anointed servants of God such as Rev. Norman and Linda Holmes, Directors of Zion Ministries Philippines; Rev. Sylvia Evans, Elim Bible Institute, Lima, New York; Allen Claycomb, missionary-church planter in Central and South America; Rev. Yang Tuck-Yoong, Senior Pastor, Cornerstone Community Church in Singapore; Rev. Neil and Christine Farmilo, veteran missionaries in the Philippines; Rev. Joe de Pasquale, Senior Pastor, King's Gate Church, Detroit, Michigan; Rev. Dennis and Dianne Teague, Pastors of Rivers of Grace Church, Olympia, Washington.

FMCC gave spiritual and logistical support to the Zion Ministries seminars of Dr. Brian Bailey in 2006 and 2008. Provincial delegates were hosted by MZCF through the financial contribution of other FMCC churches providing accommodation and meals throughout the seminar period. Through this means, MZCF is privileged with the opportunity to extend assistance and blessing to leaders and members of FMCC family.

Pastors and leaders from FMCC churches attended the Asia-Pacific Zion Convention in Singapore from 2002 to 2006 further strengthening the foundation of the Vision of Zion in their life and ministry. Attendance in the convention also gave opportunity to some to minister to both Filipino and Singaporean congregations. Both Pastor Edwin Abisado and Sis. Beulah Badua have been invited to speak in the Network of Filipino Ministries in Singapore.

Pastors and Wives retreats have been undertaken a few times and were held in different places namely, Villa Crisanta in San Mateo, Zion Ministerial Institute in Antipolo, and Sierra Madre Golf and Country Club in Tanay, Rizal. These retreats were held not only to strengthen the marriage bonds of the ministers and their spouses but also to foster mutual edification and encouragement among the couples through exchanges of testimonies and ministering to one another.

We thank the Lord for raising up MZCF to serve and provide leadership to FMCC. He has empowered us for this unique role of leading the churches to "deeper seas" and "higher heights" to the end that we may all enter into the experience of being conformed to the image of Christ and enter into the fullness of our spiritual inheritance to the glory of the One who deserves all honor and praise.

Vision:

To come to our individual and corporate Mt. Zion experience, that is, be conformed to the image of Christ, fulfill the high calling of God, receive our full spiritual inheritance, and become part of the glorious Bride ready for His Second Coming.

Mission:

To promote and encourage the spiritual growth of ministers and churches into Christlikeness — walking in humility, holiness, servanthood, and fear of the Lord — working together to keep the unity of the Spirit, endeavoring to make ready a people prepared for the Lord in His Second Coming and be used for the greatest ingathering of souls into the Kingdom of God.
